Approach

Every engagement follows four stages. The process is the same whether the site is a family home or a small warehouse — the scope changes, the discipline does not.

01

Assessment

We visit the site and spend time understanding what you need the technology to do — not what products you think you need. We test the existing infrastructure, survey the physical environment, and ask about the problems you are actually experiencing. For network work, this includes a radio-frequency survey. For storage, it includes an audit of what data exists and how it is currently protected. The assessment is free and carries no obligation.

02

Proposal

You receive a written proposal that specifies every piece of equipment, every cable run and every configuration decision. The proposal includes a fixed price and a clear scope. There are no hidden costs and no hourly rates. If something changes during installation, we discuss it before proceeding. You know what you are paying for before any work begins.

03

Installation

We install, label and document everything. Cable runs are neat and labelled at both ends. Network diagrams are drawn and saved. Passwords and configuration details are recorded in a handover document that you own. We test every component before we leave the site and walk you through the system so you understand what has been installed and how to use it.

04

Ongoing support

We monitor the systems we install and respond when something needs attention. Firmware updates, configuration changes and minor adjustments are included. If a device fails within its warranty period, we handle the replacement. We are available by phone and email, and we aim to resolve most issues remotely within one business day. For on-site work, we schedule within the week.

What you can expect

  • A written proposal within 10 business days of the site assessment.
  • A single point of contact for the duration of the engagement.
  • Labelled cabling and a network diagram at handover.
  • A documentation pack including all credentials and configuration details.
  • Ongoing remote monitoring and support after installation.

Not a fit for

We do not install or support Apple AirPort, mesh systems sold through major retailers, or consumer-grade network-attached storage. They work fine until they don't, and we are not in a position to stand behind them.

We do not resell or support managed-service offerings from third parties that we have not personally tested at one of our own sites.

We do not take on emergency work for sites we have not previously assessed. We will help you find someone who does.
